Physio today.. although i was tired again (due to broken sleep), i had a very good session, with my sitting balance, core stability and transfers improving all the time.. my blood pressure was good to, these past few
weeks things have been changing – things are moving on (but like in life…) never straight forward! its a LONG road with a few kink’s in it.. but with everything thats going on, either nerve pain or increased spasums in my legs, or sensations that come and go.. its all going in the right direction – things are happening – hard to describe, but still my body is doing something, it may very well be due to the change in medication.. and will be down to the physio – just need to keep going
Just a quick note.. if you would like an e-news letter on spinal research please click this link and subscribe, its free and will keep you updated
Without these life experience’s… the pain and heart ache.. you would not be the person you are today! be all you can be, you only get one life – live it your way.. things will trip you up… its how you deal with the trouble’s that you face that makes you… lay down and take it.. or face things head on!
your choice!
When life pushes you down, push back! That’s what you’re here for. You’re capable, you’re creative, you’re full of life and energy. You have what it takes to move
yourself forward around any obstacle. Don’t let anything stop you.
Take strength from meeting the challenges, and move ahead. The struggles you face are just what you need to fulfill your potential for greatness.
A year from now, when you look back at today, you’ll see that the problem you’re concerned with right now, was another valuable lesson waiting to be learned.
Thank you Suzanne Fontaine
A link sent to me from Elina (Filise me
) Stem cell’s - click on the link (Stem cell’s) the research is really coming on with
break throughs all the time, i’m still moving on with only physio.. if there are any new advances that would help me on the long road to recovery – bring it on.
I took a time out yesterday, i’ll be back up to speed soon.. but sometimes a break is good for the body to…
Another inspirational quote from Suzanne – Thanks again
“If I were asked to give what I consider the single most useful bit of advise for all humanity, it would be this: Expect trouble as an inevitable part of life, and when it comes, hold your head high. Look it squarely in the eye, and say, ‘I will be bigger than you. You cannot defeat me.’” By Ann Landers
Today i had physio (had a hair cut first… makes me that little bit more focused..) i
started with my sitting balance then went into standing and did a few transfers.. because of the lack of baclofen, my body is very “jumpy” so while standing its harder to maintain my stability.. but thats just some thing else that i can work on – always going forward.. thinking about walking.. staying positive
Depression: According to a recent survey undertaken by MIND amongst people suffering from depression, many felt much better after eating a banana. This is because bananas contain tryptophan, a type of protein that the body converts into serotonin, known to make you relax, improve your mood and generally make you feel happier.
PMS: Forget the pills – eat a banana. The vitamin B6 it contains regulates blood glucose levels, which can affect your mood.
Anemia: High in iron, bananas can stimulate the production of hemoglobin in the blood and so helps in cases of anemia.
Blood Pressure: This unique tropical fruit is extremely high in potassium yet low in salt, making
it perfect to beat blood pressure So much so, the US Food and Drug Administration has just allowed the banana industry to make official claims for the fruit’s ability to reduce the risk of blood pressure and stroke.
Staying positive sometimes is really hard.. but to push through.. to push on is my choice, its that or give up.. and i can’t
– on facebook there is a “note” (its just a thing you tick…) it asks if you’ve done things in life (very random) but i filled it out.. i could truthfully tick most of it…
What i’m trying to say is… i’ve done quite a lot in the past 29yrs….. but there are
still places in the list empty, i’m not giving up because i still need to do more in life – i’m tired of sitting around… i’m not going to die in my chair!
