Swimming
Again the day in the pool - things are still heading in the right direction (although not at the pace that i
would like) i can work all of my muscle groups and its “free therapy” one big reason for people to give up is the high cost of everything..(especially physio) i am improving i will continue to do so! Once i’m in the new build i can incorporate a tread mill and finally alexWILLwalkagain
While swimming today i am now fully mobile in the pool i can
go from my back to my front with ease.. while snorkeling i can dive down, swim lengths all completly independent of any help - i have progressed loads even from a few weeks back when i was swimming on youtube - not bad for a c5/c6 tetraplegic

Hey Alex, hope all is well. Looks like you’re having a fun time in the pool - I am jealous
All is good here in Alaska…sorry for being a bit of a stranger lately. Not been on line much because the internet is so slow….mmmm…..and the lovely snow covered mountains around us don’t help LOL
Drop me a line on Facebook when you have time.
Also, my work email is: WEDM-Manager_Onboard_Marketing@hollandamerica.com - as I am always behind my work computer
By the way, remind me to send you the Westerdam itinerary for next year with the UK stops…
Keep up the good work! And chat again soon

Hello Alex, I recently patented a new mitt/glove for swimming and surfing and building strength. I am also a RNCNOR, and would like to know if you would be interested in trying them. The advantage to this new design is that you can always have them ready for immediate use. The design concept contains plastic inserts for strenght building and then the glove/mitt slids onto your wrist to remain on you arm. So, you have and added safty feature besides the advantage of increased water mobility. You can view them on the Macswavecontrol.ocm web site. Please contact me if you intersted or need more information.
